Have been taking lessons with Sass for over a year now, and have improved greatly over that period. Lessons are always varied and interesting, combining technique, music reading and learning new songs. Definitely recommend to all levels.

The Drummer Factory is fantastic value for money. I don’t know how many other drum tutors would go to the effort of tailoring a bespoke curriculum for each of their students. Sass gets the rudiments down and makes sure his students know exactly what they need to know in order to become a solid drummer, but he also allows them to lead some of the classes and express themselves in ways that benefit them the most during lessons. Whether you want to learn Jazz or Metal, Classic Rock or Reggae, Blues or Hip Hop, The Drummer Factory can teach them all with proficiency and flair. I’d never need another teacher.

My son and I have been taking lessons with Sass for nearly a year now, and I have no hesitation in recommending him. Lessons with Sass are very well structured to cover a range of skills and techniques, and there is a very clear progression from one lesson to the next. Sass has a great understanding of music, and can play many different instruments. He brings this variety to the drum lessons ensuring that his teaching is practical, fun and highly motivating.

I have been going to drum lessons with Sass for about 5 years. Sass is keen to understand what you are interested in playing and will tailor lessons accordingly. My lessons are a mix of technical work, ear-training, playing various new rhythms or covers, and improvisation. I have covered a wide range of styles including rock, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, reggae, blues, jazz and jungle/drum & bass. The studio room is well-equipped with a top-of-the-range V-drum kit and an acoustic kit. My playing has progressed a lot and I enjoy all aspects of the lessons.

The classes are great for all levels because they take into account each pupil´s level, interest and learning pace. I´ve been taking them for a little less than a year and I feel that I´ve learnt so much while having fun. When I first started I didn´t know anything about reading music and learning with a method, but I feel that I´ve started to incorporate that even though I didn´t think it possible. I recommend The Drummer Factory to anyone interested in learning drums no matter the level or music genre they are interested in, they are great!

I am eight years old and go to drum lessons with Sass. It is the best day of the week when I go for my lesson. He is kind and patient. I have lots of fun when I go there.

I have been having lessons with Sass for a couple of years. The thing I most appreciate is his ability to guage what works best for you as a student. He flexes the lessons to blend technique development with motivation and interest. I've been playing in a rock covers band for the last 3 years and Sass has substantially enhanced my performance in the band through helping me with the most effective grooves and fills.

Sass is a great teacher, very patient and talented. I am 10 and have been going to him for 1 1/5 years, I have learnt a lot and just graded with merit!
